Our College

Founded on 14^th July, 2014 Government Post Graduate College, Sitarganj is located in lush green tarai region of district Udham Singh Nagar in Sisona village at Haldwani –Sitarganj road. It is about 50km away from district headquarter Udham Singh Nagar. The college was founded by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Vijay Bahuguna Ji to provide quality education to the students of nearby locality which has a variety of population. Many of the students are economically weaker and of tribal section of society. The college is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital and plays an important role in educating, empowering and enabling 75% of girl population of the area pursuing higher education.

Immense pleasure for me to convey greetings to all stakeholders on this occasion of introducing our college website which would be informative to all. I welcome all the students who are keenly interested to get admission in this center of higher education. Since the establishment of college in 2014 it is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital. The college is offering programs at UG (Arts, Science and Commerce faculty) and PG (Arts faculty) levels to cater the requirements of students for higher education. It is endowed with qualified, experienced and energetic teaching faculty who are always devoted to provide quality education with the optimum use of academic and physical infrastructure available in the college and to make a perfect learning environment.
