Zoology Department Overview – Government P.G. College, Sitarganj The B.Sc. Science program with five subjects was introduced at the graduate level at Government P.G. College, Sitarganj in 2019. In the Biology group, 42 students were enrolled in the inaugural batch. Among them, Ayushi Saxena stood out with exceptional academic performance, securing 94.07% marks in Zoology. Since 2021, regular classes for all three years of the B.Sc. program have been conducted smoothly. To date, approximately 200 students have enrolled in the Zoology subject, and the number of students opting for NEP Zoology continues to grow each year. The department began with a single dedicated faculty member, who has worked tirelessly toward the establishment and development of the department and laboratory. Alongside building infrastructure, the faculty has remained deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students, preparing them for successful careers in the field of Zoology.
