Botany Department Overview-In Government PG college Sitarganj Science Stream B.Sc. was established in year 2019, having PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and ZBC (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry)group Combinations and course affiliation was by Kumaun University Nainital Uttarakhand. At present Department of Botany have one faculty Dr. Gitanjali Mishra ,Ph.D having sound academic and research profile and two research scholars are enrolled under her supervision. Department have basic infrastructure for Botanical studies and have well equipped laboratory. At present approximately 200 students in different semester are enrolled. Several departmental activities and awareness programmes are conducting for students for their personality development along with course study. Department of Botany vision is to provide modern,skill oriented and quality education to students contributing in the social development.
